Services
Being a first company to develop many new fabrication methods Our process applies techniques from a variety of disciplines.
Rapid prototyping
We can CNC machine micro structures, small parts, and microfluidic chips. We can also utilize a variety of fabrication methods including MEMS processing techniques, 3D printing, micro molding, micro bonding, and our patented technique that makes through-pore structures.
Please send us CAD files, photos, or a description of what you would like to achieve..
CAD designs and simulations
We can produce CAD files, run flow simulations to check your designs, can work with you to turn your idea into a physical prototype, or propose ideas to solve current challenges.
Please send us descriptions, schematics, or simply setup a call with us to discuss.
Develop solutions (R&D)
We can develop customized materials, techniques, process flow, and designs. We can also test these materials and methods to achieve the results that you require.
Please send us a description of your project and setup a call to discuss.
How to place a custom order
Work Flow
01
Tell us about your project
Send us a description, figures, or CAD files. We will send you an estimate of the project cost. For small CNC projects the turn-around can be within a day. For design and optimizations the turn around is usually 2-3 days.
02
Review and approve quote and terms
We will review the project and send you a quote. We will need to collect a percentage of the final cost upfront to cover the material and setup cost. Once the initial payment has been received we will proceed with the project.
03
Verify then Approve finished product/results
We will send you photos of the finished product and answer your questions. Once the final payment has been received, we will ship the product to you.
Who are we
Fabrication specialists and Researchers from a variety of disciplines
We have in-house engineers, CNC machinist, MEMS fabrication specialist, material scientists, mechanical engineers, chemists, biologist, and have access to groups of researchers and specialists from Academia and private institutions that can be hired on an ad-hoc basis for your projects.
We work with individuals, companies, and institutions on small and large projects. A small project can be a single fluidic chip/cartridge, a medium sized project can be a grant proposal, the design and making of parts of an overall device, a large project can be full development of a technology or a product with defined functionalities.
Testimonials
Our Customers Said
“Excellent Quality”
I ordered many PC microfluidic chips from this company. They have much better quality. The through holes are very smooth and the machined surfaces have a roughness of ~ 1 micron.

“Efficient and Professional”
We used to order parts from China but have switched to this company because their work is of much higher quality and we get a lot of useful feedbacks that has proven to save cost and quality in the long run.

“A Life Saver”
This company is a life saver. It saved us a lot of money by reducing the number of fluidic layers in our product. Our parts were ordered and designed by another company in the past but we had problems with it so we gave FlowNano a try. They spent 3 days refining the designs and reduced the number of layers by 75%. We didn’t believe it at first until their prototype passed all our tests.

“Experts In The Field“
We are a research institution in Taiwan and we were looking to make a special part for our fluidic device. We could not find a company that is willing to take the job and the feedbacks were either shape is too hard to make or the quantity volume is too low. Until a colleague suggested that we contact FlowNano which offered a competitive deal and was able to provide us with a part within our deadline.

“Resourceful“
Our company builds catheters and we are looking for new solutions for controlled drug releases. I met one of the engineer from this company and decided to hire them. Their company provided a useful sample within a week and we are able to proceed forward with the development of this new idea.

“No Skills Required“
I didn’t know how to come up with CAD but had an idea of a part. By luck I met Mike the founder of this company at a conference and I described my idea to him. He offered many cool suggestions and was able to come up with the schematics and helped me turned my idea into a physical prototype

Have Questions?
Frequently Asked
Questions
What is the minimum cost for CNC prototyping?
The price per chip can be $20 and up depending on the number of features, the size of those features, the level of precision required, and the level of difficulty required to make them. For small orders we generally require the client to setup a $500 account with us that is deducted over time.
What is not included in the quote?
Shipping cost is not included. Also our recommended changes (if you want us to make the changes) are additional services that are not included in the quote. Shipping can be estimated initially based on weight or added when the product is ready to ship.
Can you sign a NDA?
Yes we can evaluate and sign your NDA. We also have standard NDA that protects information leak among advisors, consultants, and employees.
Can we send you our materials and product samples to work on?
Yes provided that the material is stable and does not contain any potential toxic materials. We also require some extra material samples that we can test on first (meaning samples will be destroyed in the process) to determine the correct conditions to run your materials. Additional fees may be required to build holders to hold your product. Also unless initial evaluation is waived, we expect that you verify and approve our work done on your samples before we proceed on with the bulk order.
We have limited resources and we are preparing a grant proposal, can you help us get the initial results?
We have offered our services on a contingency basis meaning we will get paid once their receive the fund for it. It is evaluated on a project to project basis and we rarely do a initial zero dollar down project. More often we do offer a delayed payment or a discounted plan with a contingency to help clients get started with the funding process. Every case is different and will need to be evaluated individually.
Where are you located?
We are located in Austin Texas. The parts are produced in the USA. Our experts and specialists are located mostly in the USA but some are located world wide in different countries.
